I went to sleep the next day thankful. I was so bored! But I knew that tomorrow would be work-filled day.
Or so I thought.
I didn’t really sleep well that night. I was still thinking about Riku and the other two kids I saw in my dream, though I knew that, well, it was just a dream…right?
I was just about to fall asleep, when I smelled something out of the ordinary.
A sickening, sweet smell that made me open my eyes in angst. I started to fade from reality, falling into a sleep that I knew was wrong.
The next thing I know, I’m out cold.
I woke up in a tiny cell sealed off by steel bars. Ok. This was definitely NOT my room.
I looked around to try to find a vent or something to escape through. Nothing.
"Ahhh. So you have woken up! Good..."
I heard a strange, inhuman voice coming from all around me.
"Who are you?" I yelled, seeming a little more confident then I really was, "identify yourself, you coward!"
An eerie laugh filled the room that I was in. "Oh but that would be way too simple. You see, I know about your powers and I know that if I come into that room, there is a good chance one of us not coming out alive." the evil voice seethed.
"Y-yeah, the one that wouldn't be alive will be you!" I yelled back, my voice shaking.
"Foolish girl" the voice replied with conceit, "Little do you know your true purpose here."
'What could he be talking about?' I contemplated with concern.
I woke up to the sound of the door of the room I was in opening. A guard came in with a tray of food.
"Here’s your food" the guard said, and then did a double take, "Hey! Your kinda cute."
"Lay off" I said as I decked the tacky guard, "I don't go for people like that, you sick psychopath! I'm getting out of here."
I grabbed the guard's access keycard and left the room I had been held in, then made my way through the place that I was in. I couldn't seem to find the exit through this labyrinth, so I tried a door at the end of a hallway. When I opened it, I tripped over a piece of equipment lying across the floor.
"Trying to escape are we?" a familiar voice said. I looked up at the shoes of my kidnapper.
"So close," I whispered to myself.
